About four and a half years ago, I was training for a half marathon. Just a month before the race, I suffered a life-altering illness that would take me out of the sport for four years. Once I entered remission, I knew that I wanted to finally cross the finish line. My new year's resolution of 2019 was to train and run the half marathon that I had dreamed about for so long. On March 9th, I completed it with only ten weeks of training. Here, I want to share my secrets at making race day a memory that will last a lifetime and help you finish with ease.
